At Create and Play Preschool, my husband and I set out to create a nurturing, high-quality childcare experience in Boise, rooted in traditional values and infused with a creative focus. Our mission is to give parents peace of mind, knowing their child is not only cared for but also inspired to grow and develop essential life skills. Through our thoughtfully designed curriculum, toddlers engage in problem-solving, build daily skills, and spark curiosity with new questions—all within the warm, loving environment of our in-home preschool.

My childcare journey began while stationed overseas in Germany with my husband. Starting as an infant and toddler teacher, I pursued my Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). After earning my CDA, I transitioned to a preschool lead teacher role, where I discovered my lifelong passion. Nothing is more fulfilling than witnessing a child’s remarkable growth in such a short time, and I’m dedicated to nurturing and inspiring young minds every day.

After my husband’s military service ended, we spontaneously relocated to Boise, where we welcomed our daughter, Sierra. Watching her grow and learn reignited my passion for teaching, inspiring me to return to nurturing young minds.

The experience sparked a deep passion to create a unique, nurturing space where children could thrive through creativity and exploration. This heartfelt vision inspired me to establish Create and Play Preschool, a place dedicated to empowering children with confidence and skills for a lifetime of learning.
